New “Energy” Division

New “Energy” Division

Recently members – including Deltech Kiln and Furnace Design, LLC – of the American Ceramic Society’s division of Nuclear and Environmental Technology voted to dissolve the division and join the new 0Energy, Materials, and Systems Division. The primary meeting for the new group is the Materials Challenges in Alternative and Renewable Energy (MCARE 2020) and the 4th Annual Energy Harvesting meeting taking place August 16 – 21, 2020 in Bellevue, Washington, USA. The mission statement for the division indicates that the involvement and activities will be broader than that of the old Nuclear and Environmental Technology group: “The Energy Materials and Systems Division of the American Ceramic Society focuses on stimulating the growth and activities of the Society in the arts and sciences pertaining to ceramic and glass materials for energy related applications.”

Deltech Kiln and Furnace Design, LLC is also a member of ETEBA, the Energy, Technology, and Environmental Business Association.
