Deltech Furnaces, the manufacturing company partnered with Deltech Kiln and Furnace Design, Inc. in service to the nuclear industry, was recently named the Colorado and Region VIII SBA Exporter of the Year. The company was honored with a facilities visit from numerous representatives from the Colorado Small Business Administration, the North Metro Small Business Development Center, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and the Department of Commerce’s Trade Division. The awards were presented during a ceremony at Front Range Community College during SBA Small Business Week. According to the event program, “Every year since 1963 the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week to recognize the critical contributions of America’s Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners”. There are nearly 700,000 small businesses in the State of Colorado alone. This year National Small Business Week was held May 6-11th.
