DKFD, LLC is currently under contract to Gradient Technologies for a design-only furnace project. Our first project was as a subcontractor to Merrick Engineering for the design and supply of some lab scale furnaces for installation in a nuclear facility. Since then we have done work for Vigor, BNI, PNNL, Taricco, and others.
Now approaching its 60th year, our partner and furnace build subcontractor Deltech, Inc. has supplied furnaces to U.S. government agencies and government contractors including NASA, the Lawrence Livermore National Labs, the Idaho National Energy Lab, Sandia, Los Alamos National Labs, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, National Energy Technology Laboratory in Albany, Oregon, National High Magnetics Lab at Florida State University, and Savannah River National Labs. Projects have included special designs for waste containment, for use in robotically controlled “hot” rooms, and for operation through gloveboxes.
