Nuclear Science Week is coming!

And the Office of Nuclear Energy of the United States Department of Energy has activities planned for students and educators. As reported on the Nuclear Science Week website, educators will be able to download 30 minute episodes with kid friendly topics and features:

Meet professors

Kid interviews with nuclear science professionals

Find out how nuclear energy works

Find out how atoms create energy

See how nuclear energy is used to power space craft, power plants, and medical devices

Participate in science experiments

Teachers can preview the programs beginning on Thursday, October 15th and download them on Tuesday, October 20th through Thursday, October 22nd, 2020.
